Important things before you begin


1. Check your email for an email from Corjl, this is where you will find your website elements to edit online.

2. If you have purchased from our website shop, be sure to unzip the file download first! The Adelle Rose theme ZIP folder is in there.

Tutorials Documentation

We do not yet have video tutorials for this theme but if you prefer to watch videos, you can head over to our theme documentation for Pretty Little Things theme, it's not exactly the same but setting up is very similar. You may find the video tutorials easier! Or you can follow the step by step tutorials below.

1. When you log into Shopify, click on ‘Online Store’

2. Click ‘Upload theme’ then navigate to the Adelle Rose Theme zip file included in the download.

3. That’s it! You can now begin customizing your theme. 

Check your email for an email from Corjl to edit the website elements. Click on the email from Corjl & find the template named ‘e2841 Logo’ and edit as necessary.

Once you are done editing, download as JPEG files. Now log into Shopify then go to your dashboard > Online Store > Themes > Customize and then:

1. In your theme customizer, click on the ‘Header’ section as pictured below

2. In the header section, under ‘Logo’ click ‘Change’ and then upload your logo file. Don’t forget to click save!

Check your email for an email from Corjl to edit the website elements. Click on the email from Corjl & find the template named ‘e2841 Website Graphics’. Don’t forget to use the top right arrows to flip through the different styles!

Once you are done editing, download as JPEG files. Now log into Shopify then go to your dashboard > Online Store > Themes > Customize and then:

1. In your theme customizer, click on the ‘Top Gallery’ section as pictured below

2. Click ‘Change’ then upload your own graphic. You can also add an image link.

The video below shows you how to setup the Instagram section. The video shows another theme but you can still follow the video to get the Instagram setup on your site.

In the link you received from Corjl, There are 2 map files, one named ‘e2841 Map Section (Desktop Image)’ and ‘e2841 Map Section (Mobile Image)’. This is so that one image displays on the desktop and one image displays on the mobile site for more of a mobile friendly look on mobiles. Edit both map templates to suit your needs, you can edit the text, move the heart and even add your own custom map graphic if you want. 

Once you are done editing it, download as a JPEG file. Now log into Shopify then go to your dashboard > Online Store > Themes > Customize and then:

1. In your theme customizer, click on the ‘Map Section’ section as pictured

2. Click on ‘Change’ for the Desktop Map Image, be sure to upload the right map 🙂 and then do the same for the Mobile Map Image, click ‘Change’ and upload the mobile version. Then click save!

The video below shows you how to import the pages to your Shopify site. The video shows another theme but the process is still the same. 🙂
